You are our sensor for what actually moves and our bet-maker for what to pursue. You track the research frontier, reproduce promising techniques, and lead medium-horizon programs — proprietary evals, domain-adapted models, novel agent topologies — whose outputs land in real client products, not papers alone.
What you'll do
- Track and reproduce key papers and OSS across LLMs, retrieval, agents, and multimodal
- Lead 3–12 month research programs aligned with product strategy
- Design evaluation methodology and domain-adapted approaches for client work
- Hand off findings to engineering with prototypes and clear artifacts
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in ML/AI engineering, research, or a blend of both
- Comfortable reading ML papers and reproducing results from scratch
- Strong Python and experiment discipline (W&B, MLflow, or similar)
- Judgment to separate signal from hype and prioritize by product impact
Nice to have
- Publications, preprints, or notable OSS contributions
- Experience with fine-tuning, RLHF/DPO, distillation, or benchmark design
- Thai or Southeast Asian language modeling experience
